This short wool jacket is made after an original 1940s pattern in beautiful plaid Shetland wool. This iconic model was the basis for many work wear items such as the British army battle dress. this is an excellent jacket for a casual vintage style look. The jacket has many vintage details like pleated shoulders, under arm gusset for extra ease, a typical 1940s collar and a pleated back. The jacket is lined with blue acetate jacquard with paisley motive
