This 1940s style Ike jacket is made after an original 1940s pattern in heavy burgundy red pure wool. The fabric is thick and soft on the outside, the inside is lined with a stunning red jacquard lining. This iconic model was the basis for many workwear items such as the British army battle dress. this is an excellent jacket for a casual vintage style look. The jacket has many vintage details like pleated shoulders, under arm gusset for extra ease, a typical 1940s collar and a pleated back.
