Ike jacket wool tweed black and white
This 1940s style Ike jacket is made after an original 1940s pattern in grey melange pure wool. The weave has a very unusual and interesting zigzag pattern in black and wool white. The wool is quite heavy and has a great feel. This iconic model was the basis for many work wear items such as the British army battle dress. this is an excellent jacket for a casual vintage style look. The jacket has many vintage details like pleated shoulders, under arm gusset for extra ease, a typical 1940s collar and a pleated back.
