1930s style black striped wool fishtail back trousers
These early 1940s style high-waisted, pleated trousers are made after an original 1940s pattern. They are executed in a soft charcoal black wool blend flannel with narrow grey stripes with a little hint of gold. The trousers are very high waisted and should be worn with the waistband all the way up, just below the ribs. The zipper is long enough to match the style. The trousers ave a fish tail back with an adjustment strap. The side pockets are very generous and made from GOTS certified eco labeled cotton poplin, as are the welted back pockets. There is also a little change pocket in the front that closes with a button an loop.

SIZING INFO:
The sizes are measurements of the waist in inches. To be sure please measure, jeans sizes or chino's are often sized differently, you made need to size up 1 or 2 sizes. When measuring the waist, make sure you measure high enough, just below the ribs is the right place. Take a tape measure or cord and pull it tight enough that it is comfortable. Or use a belt that you fasten to the right size and measure that to find the right size.
